The Wildcrafted Way

Reflections, rituals, and invitations into embodied mystery

Welcome to The Wildcrafted Way—a space to return, to soften, and to remember. Here, ritual meets reflection, and mystery lives in the body. To the part of you that still knows, even when you forget—welcome.

Living the Wildcrafted Way

I thought it would feel like peace. Stillness, maybe. Some calm place I'd arrive at once I’d figured out how to stay open when things got hard.

But living The Wildcrafted Way didn’t feel like peace. Not at first.

It felt like heat in my chest. A fast pulse in my throat. The familiar impulse to retreat, say nothing, go numb—or make someone else wrong. It felt like the moment I almost said something clever and cutting—but didn’t.

It was the inhale I stayed inside when I would’ve walked away. The pause after someone I love said something sharp, and I felt the sting—but didn’t try to escape it. It was when I sat on the edge of the bed and felt everything all at once—grief, love, tiredness, wonder—and realized I didn’t need to make sense of any of it.

The Wildcrafted Way is not a concept I teach. It’s a way I live—or rather, a way I let life live me.

It’s when I notice the old story rising—blame, withdrawal, fixing—and I let it pass like weather. It’s when I touch the ground with my bare feet, even when I’m afraid. It’s when I feel the ache of the world and let it soften me instead of harden me.

Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes it’s silence. Sometimes it’s laughter in the middle of something sacred and broken. Sometimes it’s just a single breath that says: I’m still here.

This is The Wildcrafted Way.

It doesn’t arrive with answers. It doesn’t guarantee resolution. It asks nothing but your willingness to remain. Remain aware. Remain curious. And welcome what’s here—even when it’s tender, even when it’s wild.

It’s life coming home, returning us to ourselves—to each other, and to the world.

“The Wildcrafted Way begins with the simple choice to stay near—to listen, to feel, and to love your experience as it is.”

Awakening to The Wildcrafted Way

A gentle ritual for wherever you are

Sometimes, connecting with mystery and embodiment can feel abstract. This simple practice anchors you directly in your immediate experience, gently demonstrating exactly what it means to embody The Wildcrafted Way.

Try this:

Wherever you are—inside, outside, alone or among others—close your eyes and pause for a moment.

Let your awareness come to rest in your ears. Soften here. Don’t strain. Just let your attention linger in the space of listening. Notice how your capacity to listen deepens and widens as you do.

Now, draw your awareness to what you hear:

– the sounds close by,
– the ones further away,
– the ones barely there at all
– a soft hum
– a shifting wind
– a birdcall or a breath
– the quiet texture of silence behind it all

Let your attention rest with just one sound—or with the silence. Not to identify. Just to sit near sound. To welcome it.

As you do, gently notice:

Where does this sound land in your body?

(Do you feel it in your chest? Your skin? Your belly? Elsewhere?)

What sensations do you feel as you receive this sound?

(Warmth? Tingling? Heaviness? Lightness? Softening? Tension? Numbness? Movement? Stillness?)

This is the practice of The Wildcrafted Way— the choice to listen, to sit near, and to offer your attention as a quiet act of love toward your own experience.

A Way We Might Walk Together

If something has awakened in you—a curiosity, an opening, a quiet longing—you’re not alone. The Wildcrafted Way is not a path we walk alone. It's a shared journey deeper into relationship—with ourselves, each other, and the mystery that holds us.
